Bruce Allen Roberts, MD is triply Board certified in Family Medicine, Psychiatry and Holistic Medicine, and is an ordained Shamanic Minister.
"Bruce is a true Renaissance man, with experience in multiple areas of medicine. He is brilliant, and his fund of knowledge still impresses me on a daily basis. At the same time, he continually wants to learn more and his reverence for the magic and mystery of our world keeps him humble. Even more exceptional is his gentle, accepting and loving approach which endears him to others (I kind of like him too!). Just being in the room with him is a healing experience. He is my inspiration professionally as well as the love of my life."

Molly Manning Roberts, MD, MS is triply Board certified in Family Medicine, Holistic Medicine, and Nutritional Medicine, and is both a psychotherapist and an ordained Shamanic minister.
"Molly's greatest gift is her ability to see past a person's external persona to the depth of their soul. She recognizes the sacred in each person and is able to reflect that back in a way that is truly healing. For this reason, I have given her the shamanic name, 'Soul Gazer' (she prefers 'Shamama'). I have personally been the recipient of this incredible gift and feel deeply blessed to have her in my life."
- Dr. Bruce Roberts
Dr. Molly has truly embraced the concept of melding mind, body and spirit
in the pursuit of optimal health and is in a unique position to guide those looking for more joy and balance in all areas of their lives.

At the time of your death, ancient Egyptian tradition states that the God Anubis comes to weigh your heart. After placing your heart on one side of the scale, he places on the other side a feather from the Goddess Ma'at, the goddess of Truth, Balance, Justice, and Order. Your heart will be measured to see if it is literally as light as a feather and if it is, you may enter into the kingdom of heaven. We at LightHearted Medicine believe that this kingdom of heaven is here and now, that it is your birthright, if you can find your way to your own light heart.
LightHearted Medicine is a term that grew out of our understanding that when true healing has come, the world is a joyful place to be. We are all striving for physical, emotional and spiritual health, but the striving itself can sometimes create imbalance and dis-ease. Medicine is often a very serious business while its goal is light, love, joy and health. Here at LightHearted Medicine, we believe that you can find the joy while you are still looking for the answers, that lightening up can lift us up and help us to heal more quickly.
This is not to ignore the shadow aspects of our lives, since it is often in the shadow that our greatest light is hidden. We have so often seen people's love, passion, and vitality come alive again once they clear out those areas that they have been afraid to look at for such a long time.
When you know and truly love yourself in all your shadow and light, in your relationships to those around you, in your spiritual beliefs, and in your life circumstances, you will have embraced the holistic doctor within. There is great medicine to be found in recognizing that your relationships, your joys and your fears are just as important as your cholesterol level.
Life is meant to be a journey, and if you know where you want to head, you are so much more likely to get there. It is simply a matter of having the ultimate goal in mind and not necessarily waiting for the cure to your problems before your life and your journey can be juicy again.
LightHearted Medicine also holds the 60 years of accumulated education and wisdom that we bring to your healing. We have an insatiable curiosity about how the world works, and we focus our own treasure trove of knowledge, skills and loving attention to all the information products, workshops and services that we offer.
Our deep wish is that
LightHearted Medicine
be a place where you can
reach in and explore,
where you can find the juiciness and joy in your life,
where you find
compelling and varied opportunities
to manifest profound healing
in all aspects of
your life, relationships, and health.
In the coming weeks and months, we will be unveiling more and more of this vision, and we invite you to be a frequent visitor to our website as our expanded direction unfolds. We look forward to your participation and input as our services and offerings continue to evolve, and we are just as excited to be with you as you find the light in your heart to celebrate…whatever your heart desires!
Synchronicity is a term coined by the psychoanalyst Carl Jung. It refers to "meaningful coincidences," those times when two seemingly unrelated thoughts or events happen during the same space or time and are related by their meaning to each other rather than by cause and effect. Synchronicities imply that there is a larger connecting force in the world. Two simple examples are when we are thinking or dreaming about someone and they subsequently call us, or when we need something to happen and it somehow comes about without our intervention. When we open ourselves to the possibility of these and other synchronicities, we will start to see them more often in our lives. In doing so, we recognize that there is a deeper connection to our world and to those around us than we can glimpse with our rational selves. It gives us a taste of the mystery and beauty of a world not of our making. The universe is, indeed, conspiring in our favor.
As Jean Shinoda Bolen stated in her book, The Tao of Psychology: Synchronicity and the Self, "Through synchronicity, the Western mind may come to know what the Tao is. As a concept, synchronicity bridges East and West, philosophy and psychology, right brain and left. Synchronicity is the Tao of psychology, relating the individual to the totality. If we personally realize that synchronicity is at work in our lives, we feel connected rather than isolated and estranged from others; we feel ourselves part of a divine, dynamic, interrelated universe. Synchronistic events offer us perceptions that may be useful in our psychological and spiritual growth and may reveal to us, through intuitive knowledge, that our lives have meaning."
There have been many synchronicities along the way of creating the Synchronicity Center and we have recognized the feeling of grace that comes when we have had our own synchronistic events or when hearing of someone else's experiences. We honor our connectedness to a world larger than ourselves and humbly strive to make the world a kinder and gentler place to be. We know that we all have our own small but equally important roles in "the grand plan."
